Upon promotion, the youth player will lose 10% from his top two skills. This is to represent the step up from youth to senior soccer. If the 2nd highest skill is under 50, it will not be reduced further.
Promoted players will have 100% fitness when the join their new club.
Bidding for youth players will take the form of a blind auction. If there are two bids for the same player, the highest bid gets him. The minimum bid is 0.40 and where there are two identical winning bids, the first bid received will get the player.
Youth teams get 0.1 for every win in the Youth League & Youth Cup.
At the End Of Season (EOS), if a youth team is managed by a manager, that manager's senior team will get his Youth Team's Cash On Hand (COH) added to his senior team's COH.
Each manager who has a youth team will receive 0.2 in wages at the EOS and this will be increased to 0.5 if he has not missed more than one line-up.
If a manager stops managing a youth team before the EOS, he will not be paid any of the cash that the team made while he was manager. If a manager takes over a youth team at any point during the season and remains until the EOS, he will only be paid the sum that the team made during his managership.
If another senior team promotes one of your youth players, your youth team will receive 25% of the bid. If you promote one of your own youth players, you will get a 25% discount on your bid price. (You still have to bid on your own players).
All money generated by a youth team will be paid to the manager's senior team at the EOS. No exceptions.
A promoted youth player will always sign a 3 year contract with the senior team.
Youth teams will immediately get a free replacement player when one of their players is promoted.
At the EOS, all 20 year old youth players will leave their team and those judged to be good enough, will join the senior Free Players list. The youth team will receive free replacement 18 year old players.
The Winners of the Youth League will get 0.5 added to COH and the Runner-Up will get 0.2 added to COH.
The Youth Cup will be played after the league has ended and will be between the top four teams in the league. The Winner of the Youth Cup will get 0.5 added to COH and the Runner-Up will get 0.2 added to COH.
The Youth Cup semi-final draw will be the same each season. 1st place in the league will play 3rd and 2nd place will play 4th.
Youth League team/stadium names cannot be changed. Managers are paid to run their youth team. They do not 'own' it like they own their senior team, otherwise they would own the youth players too - They don't.
